Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience, Greet each customer and uses their name whenever possible, Assist customers on how to use Self-checkouts properly including use of the hand scanner for a Fast and Easy checkout experience, Respond timely to customer inquiries and self-checkout system notifications, Monitor multiple self-checkouts for proper customer usage including the scanning of all items and the accurate scanning of each item, Remind customers of items located on the bottom of the cart or items under baby seats prior to them completing the transaction, When needed, assist in scanning the customer's order and provide instructions on payment, Complete self-checkout voids, age restricted item verifications and any other SCO assist function in accordance with Front End Standard Practice, Avoid personal conversations with other associates when customers are present, Follow procedures in handling proper acceptance and payment processing at self-checkout for checks and coupons
