We are committed to the professional development of our associates through on-the-job learning opportunities and training.<br><br><strong>Position Summary</strong> <br><br> Execute the base and promotional pricing strategies as identified by banners so that the category is achieving the margin goals and the index targets established by the banner. Analyze performance to identify opportunities and present recommendations that mitigate risk to the banner and category <br><br><strong>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Assist in the training of new CMP Analysts and CMP Managers.</li><li>Monitor and influence store level closeout markdown pricing strategies for a specific department or super category.</li><li>Forecast margin rate by markdown event/ super category.</li><li>Assist in the development of budgets by department/ super category.</li><li>Investigate closeout discount opportunities and communicate the findings to CMP Analyst.</li><li>Conduct analysis to determine appropriate closeout markdown retails by store</li><li>Work with Category teams to achieve margin goals and sell through targets.
